Kid’s Bow Tie Tutorial
Kid’s Bow Tie Tutorial
Supplies:
- Sewing machine
- All purpose polyester sewing thread
- Scrap fabric
- Hook and loop tape or snap
- Hand needle
- Loosely (and carefully…obviously) 🙂 measure child’s neck and add 2 inches. This is the length of the neck band. Cut the neck band out using that measurement as the length and 2″ as the width.
- Press the short ends in about a 1/4″. Then, press the length in half and open. Next, press the raw edges in to that center crease. You’ll then fold along the center crease so that all raw edges are concealed. I had to clip the ends on the inside because they were sticking out (as shown in the image below).
